M1916 Holster

The M1916 holster was the standard issue holster for the M1911 A1 pistol. The leather holster had a wire hanger for use with the M1936 pistol belt or any standard US cartridge belt, along with a belt loop for use with a trouser belt. The M1916 also came with a leather lace so that the holster could be tied to the wearer's thigh to prevent the holster from swinging around.
