M3 Shoulder Holster

The M3 shoulder holster allowed wearers to carry the M1911 A1 pistol under the left arm instead of on the waist. A loop at the bottom of the holster passed around the trouser belt to keep the holster from swinging around. The M3 was especially popular with pilots, air crew, tankers, and paratroopers.
