Type A-14 Oxygen Mask

This oxygen mask was an “on demand” type which supplied oxygen as needed rather than a steady stream of air. The new face piece design dramatically increased the comfort in long term wear. This type was standardized in 1943 and became the main oxygen mask used for the remainder of the war.
