37MM Canister Round

The 37MM canister round was designed as an anti-personnel round. The canister contained approximately 120 lead balls, and when fired, the canister bursts open after travelling 100 feet, scattering the projectiles over a wide area. This was a very effective weapon against Japanese Banzai attacks.
