Games were a popular diversion for submariners while on long patrols. They relieved tension and made life within the confines of a submarine more bearable. Cribbage was one of the more popular games. "Mush" Morton was a great fan of cribbage; he owned several game boards, and even made them himself. He made this board during one of Wahoo's patrols, but left it behind on his final, fateful patrol.
